Situation:
I collaborated with the owner of Real Sugar Soda, a local soda brand that was looking to establish its market presence and distinguish itself among competitors.
Task:
My objective was to develop a comprehensive identity package for the brand as a whole and for its over 20 unique soda flavors. The goal was to create visually appealing and distinct designs that would resonate with the target audience and enhance brand recognition.
Action:
To achieve this, I initiated the process by conducting market research to understand industry trends and consumer preferences. Based on the insights gained, I brainstormed with the owner to define the brand's core values and personality. This collaborative approach allowed us to establish a creative direction that was authentic to the brand's ethos.
I then moved into the design phase, where I employed a variety of design software to create logo concepts, color schemes, and typography choices that would visually represent the brand's identity. For each of the 20+ flavors, I crafted unique designs that reflected the individual character of the flavor while maintaining a cohesive look across the entire product line. This required a careful balance of creativity and consistency to ensure each flavor stood out on its own yet clearly belonged to the Real Sugar Soda brand family.
Throughout the process, I maintained open communication with the owner, seeking feedback at various stages to refine the designs. This iterative approach ensured the final outcomes were closely aligned with the owner's vision and expectations.
Results:
The comprehensive identity package was successfully developed and implemented, significantly enhancing the brand's visibility and appeal. The distinctive designs for each flavor were well-received by the target audience, contributing to increased brand recognition and customer engagement.
